Responsibilities:
Experience preferred
- Conduct physical examinations and health assessments of patients
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging studies
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Provide education and counseling to patients on preventive care and health maintenance
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Participate in clinical research studies as needed
Skills:
- Proficient in phlebotomy and venipuncture techniques
- Experience using electronic medical record systems, particularly Epic
- Knowledge of sonography for diagnostic purposes
- Competency in medication administration and dosage calculations
- Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with clinical research protocols and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, such as an emergency room setting
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Experience providing care to senior patients, including geriatric assessments and management
