The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) is seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be an essential link between traditional media relations and social media, spearheading initiatives that showcase Miami’s vibrant culture, events, and experiences to a global audience.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage day-to-day relationships with PR and social media agencies, ensuring deliverables are met within scope and budget.
- Develop and execute influencer strategies across domestic and global markets.
- Collaborate with the VP of Marketing Communications on event planning, press engagements, and experiential projects.
- Create and present performance reports for PR and social media campaigns.
- Craft engaging content for social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
- Build strong relationships with influencers and media to enhance Miami's brand visibility.
- Support key initiatives like Miami Spice and major events such as Art Basel and the South Beach Wine & Food Festival.
- Stay current with social media trends and implement innovative strategies to engage audiences.
