Description
You and your team will be responsible for leading, organizing and implementing Versele-Laga's marketing and communication strategies in the U.S. for all associated companies and brands that include Higgins Premium Pet Foods, Cavalor, Roudybush, and Versele-Laga's own brands. These marketing and communication strategies include:
Marketing Strategies
- Devise and implement a marketing strategy to help achieve the company’s goals and KPI’s
- Apply and adapt our "Think Global, Act Local" European global marketing strategies to better fit the needs of the US market
Brand Management & Development
- Leverage and maintain brand awareness of the different company brands towards the B2B and B2C channels
- Position product brands effectively in the market and ensure a consistent message is communicated across all touchpoints
Marketing Campaigns
- Plan, execute, and manage marketing campaigns and new product launches across various channels
- Sets clear goals and track progress to ensure marketing efforts are on track to meet the company's goals
Communications, Public Relations & Events
- Plan, coordinate and implement the organization’s marketing message across all communication channels
- Organize and attend B2B and B2C events to stay connected with customers and the sales team to assess needs, developing trends, areas of improvement, etc.
- Manage the different social media channels
Team Leadership
- Build and manage a high-performing team with attention to developing the unique individuals’ skills of every team member
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in brand marketing
- Experienced in wholesale/distribution channel
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Main a good balance between the day-to-day operations and middle to long-term goals
- Experienced in developing and implementing marketing strategies in a multi-channel FMCG environment
- Excellent attention to detail, both for editing copy and consistency in style/tone across all content
- Experienced in developing and implementing digital marketing campaigns
- Experienced in web analytics tools like Google Analytics and Nielsen
- Proficient in MS Office & typical communications programs
- Experienced in the pet industry a big plus
Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
