Your Impact:
Network administrator provides technical leadership and has overall responsibility for the operating health, maintenance, and timely recovery of the network, data systems, voice systems, and software applications for all locations at the Philadelphia Freedom Valley YMCA. Designs, implements, and maintains an environment that meets service level requirements and security standards for public and private network presence. Serves as senior technical lead for all hardware and software support. Participates in all IT projects, change management, and policy and procedure review and revision.

What You'll Do:
Ensures that servers and systems meet service level requirements for availability, performance, backup, and recovery.
Work with vendors and YMCA staff to implement projects and facilitate network infrastructure changes.
Responsible for design and documentation of network routing and communications standards, and maintenance of all devices attached to the IP network.
Participates in the monitoring and managing information security risk through Intrusion Detection and Prevention, end point protection, firewall, log review and analysis, Spam/Phishing, and web filter system operation.
Maintains and reports system availability and performance metrics for all production systems.
Primary responsibility for design, accuracy, availability, and maintenance of Active Directory and user account security.
Provides support for internal and external web hosts and services.
Participates in setting policy and procedure for Data Center and Cloud operations.
Participates in setting desktop and server hardware and software standards
Tests and deploys operating system, approved software, and software patches to servers and clients.
Works with approved vendors and IT staff for 24 hour support for hardware and network
Coordinates all expenses with IT Director to minimize expenditures and operate within budgetary restrictions.
Coordinates license and support agreements with IT Director to ensure that YMCA uses only licensed software, is fully licensed, and has adequate vendor support.
Serves as technical project consultant to departmental and branch leadership as requested.
Participates as Change Manager to control risk associated with hardware and software changes.
Documents standards and issue resolution notes into Service Cloud Cases and Knowledge.
Provide end user training and consultation in the use of desktop software and facilitate the integration of O365 data with the client.
Provide support to end users with regard to PC hardware, and software including Microsoft office, Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook and other related software.
What Qualifications You'll Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Science or related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in information technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong knowledge of Office 365, Active Directory, Entra
Strong knowledge of Meraki networking.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, and Windows 11 operating systems.
Experience with AWS and Azure Cloud management for SQL, Windows, and Linux hosting.
Excellent PC and TCP/IP networking skills
Prefer experience with Kaseya VSAx, Crowdstrike, and DarkTrace
Excellent problem solving and communication skills with all level of personnel.
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with staff and vendors
Willingness to work as part of a team and to learn new skills in a dynamic environment.
Ability to travel to branch locations in the greater Philadelphia area.
