The Community Liaison (Sales Representative) promotes Green Mounain Hospice's unique program and its serivces. Our Community Liaison has a vital role with our agency. Comminutiy Liaison is responsible for growing the census and being a positive reflection of the hospice program. Community Liaison must be heavily involed in our lovely community. Community Liaison will develop and implement methods to identify new referrals sources and will maintain an ongoing relationships with with hospice partners, physicians and referral sources that will increase census and preference for hospice services.

Job Summary: Primary function is to act as a liaison between Agency and the community regarding community and customer needs. Responsibilities include development and promotion of programs and services while maintaining the standards of practice consistent with quality health care and maximizing human, financial, and equipment resources. Job Qualifications: Education: Graduate of an accredited college/university preferred. License: State Driver’s License Experience: Experience in the health care industry preferred. Transportation: Reliable transportation. Skills: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all segments of the staff, the lay, and professional public, the Governing Body, and the Medical Director. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Sensitivity to issues of loss and grief; Ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job. Environmental and Working Conditions: Works under a variety of conditions in facilities and offices; ability to work flexible schedule, ability to travel locally; some exposure to unpleasant weather. Physical and Mental Effort: Sitting is required. Requires ability to handle stressful situations in a calm and courteous manner at all times. Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet deadlines and agency needs. Ability to travel.
