The Crew Leader has gained the flexibility to control the outcome of their own day. This position allows the Crew Leader to guide their team along every aspect of the project ensuring a backyard oasis for each client. Assisted by our Operations Manager and Service Coordinator, you begin the day set up for success and have support on demand. The Crew Leader holds a vital role in the accomplishments of our Green Scapes team.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Utilize Time App to accurately track all crew members hours and update tasks and notes throughout the day
- Process daily planning with Operations Manager each morning for project adjustments and help as necessary
- Work with Office Staff adjusting machine needs and wants
- Maintain good notes daily, including tracking material amounts, tasks performed, sizes of work areas, and changes that arose
- Ability to read and comprehend site plan/design and job planner – be prepared to ask questions during Crew Leader meeting
- Actively initiate small meetings onsite to have everyone on the same page and working for a common goal
- Stay up to date on all current processes and updates on new materials and procedures
- Efficiently defer client project questions/concerns directly to Operations Manager when material quantities or job scope change
- Send ‘LMN 4 o’clock 4’ email to Operations Manager around 4PM each day to prepare for next day’s efficiencies
Qualifications and Skills
- 2 Years Leadership Experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to delegate and follow up with crew members depending on skill level
- Can make sure all crew members are working efficiently at ALL times
- Ability to multitask by watching crew, thinking about future task, and working on your own task
- Provide high quality and respectful communication with client while onsite (including enforcing standards of conduct and break policies per Employee Handbook)
- Desire to learn new products & installation techniques
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
