Description
Green Street is seeking a Global Compensation & Benefits Specialist who will work closely with the People & Culture team. This is a fast-paced role within a highly collaborative department that will support various global benefits administration and operational processes to support Green Street’s growing international presence. Responsibilities include managing a full suite of benefit and leave of absence programs, executing annual merit review & bonus processes as well as providing guidance to employees and helping them with various needs. This role will require partnering with vendors, brokers, and cross-functional teams in Payroll, IT, Legal, and Finance.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Administer benefit & wellness programs for multiple countries including medical, dental & life insurance, flex spending accounts, 401k/pension plans etc.
- Maintain various internal & external benefits and insurance systems including processing enrollments, terminations and other applicable changes
- Coordinate with external vendors and brokers to troubleshoot benefits questions
- Provide support with administrative benefit tasks such invoice reconciliation, discrepancy resolution and invoice approvals
- Partner with People Operations Manager on annual open enrollment & renewal processes
- Work with local brokers & vendors to establish & set up benefit plans as M&A activity generates new international locations
- Collaborate with the global payroll team to support payroll processing including updating pay and benefit deduction changes as they arise
- Work within internal systems and tools (Paylocity, Decusoft, Freshservice) to streamline the employee lifecycle
- Support employees throughout the leave of absence process including providing guidance on leave entitlements and ensuring compliance with company policies
- Maintain compensation philosophy and framework through a job evaluation process, ensuring positions are evaluated and leveled consistently across the organization
- Regularly review salary surveys and benchmarking data and make recommendations
- Coordinate and produce assignment letters/contracts and other documentation for both US domestic and International relocations; brief assignees and answer immigration or assignment-related questions
- Partner with local immigration attorneys to process visa applications, work permits, and other immigration-related documents for international assignments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employees on global assignments and related information
- Review monthly assignment and visa expiration reports and liaise with local HRBPs to confirm next steps and take action for upcoming expirations
- Act as a point of contact for various employee questions such as benefits, leaves of absences, merit and bonus process, international assignments etc.
- General administrative work as needed
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a global benefits specialist or global HR generalist
- Knowledge of different HR systems and tools (BenAdmin, HRIS, compensation etc.)
- Strong project management skills and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities and projects
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver results in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables etc.)
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) in team environments and with company stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Proven ability to independently troubleshoot a broad range of issues and find resolutions

Salary : $90,000 - $95,000
