Job Description:
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with all students, parents, school staff, and community members using effective soft skills.
- Provide attentive supervision of students in classrooms and assigned, designated areas.
- Provide interventions as assigned by building principal and other supervisors
- Assist with clerical tasks including data entry, record-keeping, preparing reports (e.g., attendance, excessive absences), and handling confidential information.
- Support the administrative assistant to ensure efficient office operations, including greeting visitors and staff.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow all federal, state, and district policies including IDEA and FERPA.
- Participate in training, professional development, meetings, and staffing as directed by school administration.
- Enforce and support school and district policies, procedures, vision, mission, and goals.
- Report any incidents (e.g., bullying, suspected abuse, substance concerns) to ensure the safety and well-being of students and staff.
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations and safety concerns.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the administration.

Working Conditions:
- Regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds regularly, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- May experience frequent interruptions, shifting priorities, and tight deadlines.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on school needs and special projects.
