Greeneville City Schools is currently accepting on-line applications for a full time Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper at Highland Elementary School. The elementary school Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper assists the Principal in order that s/he may devote maximum attention to administering an effective instructional program. Responsible for accounting of all revenues and expenditures at school level in accordance with state guidelines. The full time position DOES include benefits.
High school diploma, including a standard bookkeeping course, preferably supplemented by courses from a business school or college. At least 2 years’ experience in maintaining records and a working experience in bookkeeping/accounting. Have knowledge of office procedures, keyboarding, office machines, and computer operations, word processing, attendance software, data base, and spreadsheets. Experience with Munis is a plus. Must have satisfactory background/fingerprint checks as required by the Tennessee State Department of Education and state law. Must meet health and physical requirements.
