About the Role:
As an Admissions Coordinator, you will be Responsible for coordinating and directing the admissions from local hospitals, other Columbine Health Systems facilities and services, physician’s offices, and the community with the support of the Admissions Director
What you will be doing as an Admissions Coordinator:
Are you passionate about patient care and looking to make a real impact? Join our team as an Admissions Coordinator and be the vital link between our facility and the community!
Conduct thorough assessments to understand patient needs and requirements.
Provide engaging tours of our facility, both scheduled and unscheduled.
Collaborate with hospital liaisons to ensure smooth patient transitions from local hospitals.
Keep bed availability status up-to-date and communicate new admissions to all departments.
Build and maintain strong relationships with local healthcare providers and facilities.
Stay informed on insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, and relevant regulations.
Represent our facility at community events and complete on-site assessments for referrals.
Compile and distribute admission paperwork, and participate in meetings to keep staff informed.
Be a key player in ensuring a smooth and welcoming admission process for all new residents.
What We're Looking For:
Experience and Education:
Bachelor’s degree in human services preferred.
1 year of experience work in healthcare working with the geriatric population preferred.
Skills:
Ability to effectively able to read and interpret documents.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Basic mathematical skills.
Ability to reason and problem solve.
Basic technical skills.

Our Total Rewards package includes a salary range of between $22 - $25/hr. DOE
