About the Role: As an Activity Assistant Director at Lemay Avenue, you will:
Designs and manages a dynamic activity program to support residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, offering both facility-sponsored and independent activities that promote independence and community interaction.
Act as an integral member of the healthcare team, coordinate with various departments, attend care conferences, and provide updates and recommendations to the Activities Director and other stakeholders.
Complete and manage all necessary records—including daily participation logs and monthly calendars—ensuring adherence to State/Federal guidelines and internal policies.
Conduct group and one-on-one activities, organize safe and orderly activity spaces, and facilitate transportation and scheduling logistics for resident participation.
Plan and execute activities within set budgets while assisting in the recruitment, training, and coordination of volunteers, and supporting activity assistants as needed.
Enhance resident and family engagement by coordinating visitations, assisting with outdoor visits, and maintaining positive interactions with residents’ loved ones.
What We're Looking For:
Experience:
Activities Certification by the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals or a willingness to attend classes to meet this goal within one year of employment.
Minimum 17 years of age required.
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Our Total Rewards package includes a salary range of between $17.00 - $19.00/hr. DOE
