Empowering Global Exchange Through Local Connections

Are you passionate about fostering cross-cultural connections? Join us as a Local Coordinator for our J-1 High School Program!

As an Independent Contractor, you'll play a crucial role in facilitating global exchanges by pairing foreign students with volunteer American host families, provide support, and organize enriching cultural activities.

While much of your work will be done remotely, you will also engage in face-to-face interactions within the local community when necessary. This dynamic position blends remote support with personal connections to ensure a successful exchange experience for everyone involved.

Responsibilities:

• Recruit local families interested in hosting exchange students, fostering cultural understanding and friendship.
• Engage proactively in marketing through social media and other platforms.
• Guide families through the approval process with care and expertise.
• Collaborate closely with local schools to facilitate smooth student placements.
• Conduct engaging orientations for host families and student orientations.
• Provide attentive monitoring and support to host families and students throughout the school year.
• Coordinate volunteer activities to enrich the exchange experience.
