What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Manager position at Greenlink Energy Solutions?
Director of Human Resources – Build, Lead, and Elevate
At Greenlink Energy Solutions, we’re not just building better energy solutions—we’re building a kickass team that makes it all happen. And that’s where you come in.
We need a strategic yet roll-up-your-sleeves HR leader who thrives in a fast-moving, high-growth environment like solar and construction. Someone who sees the big picture, but also knows how to get things done. If you can balance workforce strategy with the reality of running a tight, effective operation, this is your moment.
Your Role: Architect of Talent & Culture
As Director of HR, you’ll be the bridge between strategy and execution, ensuring that Greenlink doesn’t just grow—we scale intelligently and sustainably. You’ll work closely with leadership to attract, retain, and develop top talent while keeping processes sharp, compliance tight, and the culture thriving. You’ll be both a builder and a fixer, refining what works and overhauling what doesn’t.
What You’ll Own & Drive
Strategic HR Leadership
- Align HR strategies with Greenlink’s mission, values, and aggressive growth goals.
- Shape a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Build and implement initiatives that support employee engagement, career growth, and operational excellence.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Lead the charge on recruiting top-tier talent who can thrive in a fast-paced solar and construction environment.
- Develop onboarding experiences that get new hires up to speed quickly and deeply embedded in the Greenlink culture.
Employee Development & Performance
- Partner with leadership to create clear career pathways and growth opportunities for employees.
- Run performance review processes that actually mean something—no pointless check-the-box exercises here.
- Champion leadership development and succession planning to keep our team strong as we scale.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Keep our HR systems and policies tight, efficient, and legally sound.
- Provide guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and compliance—making sure we do things right, while keeping the bureaucracy to a minimum.
Building & Leading the HR Team
- Oversee and mentor our HR Generalist, making sure HR operations run smoothly and no one is drowning in paperwork.
- Work cross-functionally with execs, managers, and employees to ensure HR is a driver of business success, not just a backend function.
Who You Are
You’re an HR leader who gets business. You thrive in environments that require both strategy and execution. You’re not afraid to challenge the status quo, and you have the skills to turn vision into reality.
Must-Haves:
- Experience leading HR in a high-growth environment (bonus points for solar, construction, or trades).
- A recruiter’s eye for talent—you know how to find and attract top performers.
- Deep knowledge of HR best practices, compliance, and employment law (without being a “policy police” type).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills—you build trust, inspire teams, and drive results.
- A knack for fixing inefficiencies—if there’s a better way to do something, you’ll find it.
Nice-to-Haves:
- 5 years of HR management experience.
- SHRM certification or equivalent.
- Background in business administration, organizational development, or a related field.
