GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
In this challenging role, you will be supporting the HUM-Humanities department at Greenville Technical College. Duties may include any or all of the following.

- Teach Spanish courses in face-to-face format.
- Prepare lectures, syllabi, course schedules, tests, and other course-related materials.
- Grade papers and submit students' grades in a timely manner.
- Advise students on academic progress in the course.
- Maintain course-related records.
- Attend departmental meetings and/or other functions as requested/required.
- Attend professional development workshops as requested/required.
- Complete other necessary paperwork as requested/required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A Doctorate or a Master's degree with a major in Spanish or a Doctorate or a Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Spanish
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Masters degree in Spanish Possess strong record of successful classroom and online teaching experience in a community/technical college environment. Be knowledgeable of, and have, classroom experience in employing different teaching methods. Have the ability to work with colleagues and students, and to convey subject matter in a way that students can understand. Be able to adapt to students' needs and to different teaching situations. Be able to motivate students, and to work in teams as well as independently.
