Greenville University is seeking compassionate and gifted instructors in Business Law for both undergraduate (face-to-face only) and graduate instruction (online only). The selected candidate must provide evidence of a vibrant Christian faith, clearly understand and internalize the mission of Greenville University, and articulate the value of Christian higher education.
The Briner School of Business has built an academically competitive program in a private liberal arts college that prepares graduates to be fluent in the language of business, hone critical thinking and analytic skills, and communicate effectively about opportunities that are discovered. The business program operates with a mission of preparing students to enter the workforce as “roaring lambs”: servants of Christ who lead in establishing ethical culture in the marketplace.
IDEAL QUALITIES: demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching, student support, and scholarly activity, ability to integrate technology and experiential learning into coursework, versatile and willing to serve as an integral part of a diversified and active team of business faculty.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Deliver high-quality undergraduate instruction to on campus and online students in the Business program with an emphasis on experiential education. Course topics include undergraduate Business Law (on campus) and graduate Legal and Ethical Environment (online).
Candidates must:
1. Be well organized and able to present material using a variety of methods;
2. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to relate complex concepts to diverse audiences, and demonstrated cultural competency.
3. Clearly understand and internalize the mission of Greenville University, and the value of Christian higher education.
Requirements
Education:
- Earned Jurisprudence doctorate.
- Experience: Five year’s teaching experience in the modality being used (face-to-face or online) and at least 5-years’ work in a law practice or business legal environment is preferable.

Regular Undergraduate Adjunct rate with class enrollment of 10 or more per credit hour is $1000. This rate is subject to change based on enrollment numbers for the course.
