Meat Processing Specialist

Job Summary: As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for the proper receiving, handling, and storing of meat products. You will also be skilled at cutting, trimming, traying, and presentation of fresh meats.

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for the proper receiving, handling, and storing of meat products;
• Be skilled at cutting, trimming, traying, and presentation of fresh meats;
• Familiarize yourself with ground beef program, grinding, holding procedures, and handling of fresh trim;
• Fulfill and rotate all meat cases;
• Know quality and grade of all products;
• Understand proper signing of products.

Requirements:

• You must have strong communication and teamwork skills;
• You should be familiar with food safety and handling practices;
• You need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
