General Laborer/ Carpenter/ Painter (Urgently Hiring)
Gregor Industries Inc. is a General Contractor, specializing in commercial construction seeing a General Laborer & Painter to service several areas in New York.
Evenings and weekends are required.
Position: General Laborer/Carpenter/Painter (NY)
Qualifications:
Job Locations: Travel to job various job sites, 5 Boroughs, Long Island, New Jersey
- Must be able to work in the US.
- Must be diligent, savvy, and to be able to handle multiple tasks and work independently.
- Must be able to work nights and weekends.
- Ideal candidates have excellent communication skills, a passion for safety and quality and a strong drive to apply these traits to any given project. They also will be proficient in reading and writing emails and reports.

- A clean and presentable appearance is mandatory and must be flexible with hours and working nights and weekends.
Requirements include:
- Have your own reliable vehicle
- A high school diploma
- Owning basic hand tools
- Legally able to work in the U.S.
License/Certifications:
- Driver's License (Required).
- OSHA 30 (Required).
- DOB ( Required).
- Willingness to travel.
- SST 40 (Required)
- OSHA 30 Certification.
General Laborer & Painting Responsibilities:
- Execute daily work instructions received from Supervisor in a timely manner, including loading transporting and delivering material to job sites.
- Maintain company material handling equipment in safe and good working conditions.
- Record the material amount or count received and circulated.
- Inspect material upon delivery to the warehouse to identify any damages.
- Load and unload material to and from job sites.
- Operate manual material handling equipment such as hand jacks and wheeled carts safely.
- Lift and carry material as needed.
- Perform labor on the job site as necessary.
- Assist in the waste disposal and recycling activities.
- Collect and dispose of garbage.
- Perform routine facility inspections including electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Maintain the warehouse area. Keep clean, safe and organized.
- Work effectively to meet or exceed schedule goals while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain a clean driving record and abide by all transportation laws.
- Be mindful of parking work vehicles when on the job site to avoid penalties.
- An experienced painter with drywall, spackling and skim-coating experience
