What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Associate position at GRELLAS SHAH LLP?
We are actively seeking to hire a litigation associate with at least 3 years of experience in general commercial, securities, business, and / or intellectual property litigation. A degree from a top-tier law school is required, as well as California bar membership. The candidate must be capable of working and learning independently. The ideal candidate will also have large-firm experience and subject-matter expertise in intellectual property litigation.
Grellas Shah LLP’s complex litigation practice spans the areas of general commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation, securities litigation, cross-border disputes, employment litigation, and international and domestic arbitration. REQUIREMENTS :
JD from top-tier law school.
Ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of successful experience with a large firm, handling complex litigation. Experience in trade secret, copyright, or trademark litigation particularly helpful. Candidate should having a willingness to work on a broad range of litigation, however.
Strong analytical and writing skills.
Experience managing complex litigation, taking and defending depositions, arguing motions in state and federal court, drafting and opposing a range of motions, drafting and responding to discovery, ESI / electronic discovery.
Proactive, entrepreneurial and resourceful, with ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Proven ability to develop strong client relationships and work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
Member of CA bar.
