We are seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in fostering a positive workplace culture, ensuring compliance with HR laws and regulations, and supporting our organization’s most valuable asset—our people.
Position Overview
As the HR Manager at GridCon, you will oversee all aspects of human resources, including hiring, onboarding, employee relations, compensation and benefits management, and training compliance. You will be instrumental in shaping GridCon’s workforce by ensuring we attract and retain top talent while maintaining compliance with HR best practices and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Hiring and Onboarding: Recruit and onboard personnel across all levels of the organization, ensuring a seamless integration into our company culture.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure GridCon complies with all local, state, and federal HR laws and regulations.
- HR Program Administration: Plan, coordinate, and direct administrative functions, including benefits management, training programs, and employee documentation.
- Employee Relations: Develop and maintain positive relationships with employees, addressing concerns and fostering an inclusive work environment.
- Compensation & Benefits Management: Manage competitive pay structures, benefits packages, and 401k plans.
- Training Oversight: Oversee training programs to ensure employee development, compliance, and timely completion.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of best practices in recruiting, hiring, and retaining key personnel.
- Deep knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Self-starter with creative problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Familiarity with the H2-B visa program.
- At least 5 years of HR experience in the construction industry or a related field.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: $65,000 - $85,000, based on experience.
- Employer-sponsored 401k plan.
