Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Instrument Technician to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of medical instruments to ensure proper functionality.
- Execute sterilization processes according to established protocols to maintain a sterile environment.
- Manage inventory of surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand instrument needs for various procedures.
- Document all maintenance and sterilization activities accurately in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in training new staff on proper instrument handling and processing techniques.
- Troubleshoot any issues with instruments or equipment, coordinating repairs as necessary.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Proficiency in aseptic technique and sterile processing methods.
