Job Description:
Are you a self-motivated, dynamic individual looking for a promising job opportunity? If so, Grodsky, Caporrino & Kaufman, LLP is actively seeking a full-time Bookkeeper with extensive knowledge of QuickBooks to execute day to day activities for multiple clients. The qualified candidate will be well-versed in general accounting principles and highly proficient in QuickBooks and Excel.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- The updating of monthly, quarterly, and/or annual activity using QuickBooks software
- Recording of deposits, checks, expenses, and credit card transactions
- Reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts
- General ledger review
- Creation of financial statements
- Assisting with the processing of weekly payrolls for clients
- Timely and accurate reporting and payment of all payroll taxes on behalf of clients, including all quarterly and annual tax filings
- Preparation and filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales & use tax returns
- Write-up services via various accounting software programs including, but not limited to, QuickBooks
- Annual Form 1099 preparation

Job Requirements:
- Five plus years public accounting bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
