Position Summary: The position is responsible for setting and cleaning dining areas before, during and after service. Additionally, they may be asked to assist with side work and other general service duties, including carryout expediting. Server Assistants will provide premium service for members and their guests, abiding by the service standards of the Club. The Server Assistant staff will also be expected to go above and beyond to deliver memorable events, while bringing a high level of energy and professionalism.
Employment Status: Most new and returning employees are hired under a seasonal employment status. Seasonal employees can typically expect a consistent schedule from approximately April to October each year. At the end of each respective season, employees are encouraged to submit requests to transition to either year-round part-time or full-time status. Approval of these requests will be contingent upon the needs of the Club and the employee's performance track record.
Qualifications:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent experience
- Two or more years of experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including key holidays, evenings, and weekends
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Physical capability to withstand prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching, and twisting
- Ability to consistently lift over 50 lbs
- Valid driver’s license and a clean criminal record
Duties:
- Serve as a positive role model by:

- Always representing the Club well
- Provide key assistance to the Club by:
- Exceeding the expectations of members and their guests, while representing the Club to the highest standards
- Assisting servers in their general duties
- Assisting in water service
- Assisting in carrying food trays to tables
- Removing soiled dishes from dining areas
- Removing and replacing soiled linen, as needed
- Cleaning floors in dining areas, as needed
- Setting tables with silverware and glassware
- Socking server stations
- Collecting trash from dining areas
- Continuously keeping ice buckets filled
- Continually seek to enhanced knowledge and skills related to service
- Maintaining self-awareness of members’, management and peers
