Flower/Intake Specialist

Flower/Intake Specialists will be responsible for verifying and fulfilling jars for flower products while ensuring compliance with all state and local ordinances, rules, and regulations.

Duties and responsibilities

• Utilize mandated databases to ensure accuracy of incoming transfers
• Notify Intake Manager when items are ready to be priced in Flowhub. Price flower when required
• Accurately input flower items in Flowhub and verify accuracy of product descriptions Amount of all cannabinoids- individual amounts and totals
• Type, weight, quantity, supplier, SKU, Package ID, etc.
• Be available (on call) as necessary to fill jars and move flower product as directed by Intake manager
• Extensive cannabis flower knowledge to determine acceptability
• Oversee assignment, generation, and application of required packaging tags
• Oversee all internal and external product transfers
• Periodically verify physical inventory accuracy with Oregon Marijuana Enforcement Tracking Reporting Compliance (METRC) database
• Communicate with Intake Manager when items are below a 2 week par level
• Provide periodic, monthly, or quarterly intake reconciliation reports as required
• Create and maintain catalog for blue tags in an effective manner
• Complete intake process within 2 days of receiving products
• Create or update Intake Standard Operating Procedures as necessary
• METRC input
• Other duties as assigned

Working conditions/ Physical Requirements

• Must have the ability to reach at or below/above shoulder level on a continuous basis
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment and maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with customers, management, team members
• Be able to lift 50 lbs

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
