Job Purpose: GSM Outdoors is seeking a Project Manager- Apps to lead and manage the delivery of our IoT based mobile applications. This role will oversee software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to final deployment, ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the satisfaction of stakeholders and customers. customers. Tasks include but are not limited to the following:

Responsibilities for Project Manager - Apps:
- Lead software development projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
- Experience with developing, implementing, troubleshooting, and post role out follow up on mobile apps.
- Experience with working on mobile apps - in particular cameras and data.
- Define and manage project schedules, timelines, and deliverables, and communicate progress and issues to stakeholders.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets to effectively manage project resources and achieve project objectives.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.

- Gather user requirements and create functional requirements documents.
- Report project progress to management and stakeholders.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues and develop and execute contingency plans as necessary.
- Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and team members.
- Continuously improve project management processes and methodologies.
Qualifications for Project Manager - Apps:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- 2 years of project management experience in software and mobile application development.
- Prior IoT experience (preferred)
- Understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience using project management tools, such as JIRA or Monday.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or equivalent field required. (preferred)
- PMP, CSM, SAFe (preferred)
Schedule: (flexible)
Monday - Friday: 7:00am - 4:00pm or 8:00am - 5:00pm
