Description
The Inside Sales Manager provides leadership and directly manages a inside sales team responsible for customer service and sales execution. You will also provide indirect leadership, support and teamwork with the divisional sales team and associated suppliers. Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Continually recruit, select and develop a highly performing team focused on sales execution, excellent customer service and customer relations.
- Manage and coordinate the schedules, projects, assignments, positioning and alignment of the staff to meet customer requirements efficiently and effectively.
- Drive and Establish Sales Strategy and Quality Process with a team of Account Managers, Inside Sales Team Members, Sales Engineers and Service Associates.
- Responsible for strong talent management focus. Ongoing development, coaching, and decisions around improving team and individual performance. Conduct performance management initiatives such as regular one on one meetings and detailed ongoing individual and team goal setting and performance review cycles.
- Work Cross Functionally on a regular basis. Communicate and coordinate with other parts of the organization to achieve excellent customer service and sales execution.
- Strategic alignment to Outside Sales Team to ensure implementation of programs, provide support through the various stages of pipeline management and provide ongoing customer program development guidance.
- Maintain Profitable sales operations working with sales, supply chain and purchasing teams. Manage the Divisional Supply Planning Strategy and Execution working closely.
- Analytical Mindset. Manage and monitor the effectiveness of customer accounts and team performance. Provide and uncover insights that can grow sales, expand programs and deliver continuous improvement.
- Drive team cohesiveness and preparedness: Cross train staff to minimize risk of service disruption due to turnover or other staffing issues.
- Develop relationships with customers, suppliers and support staff.
- Fully understand the various systems related to the customer sales and service processes.
- All other duties and tasks as assigned by management
