The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for the development and performance of all inside sales activities. Staffs and directs an inside sales team and provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values.


 

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the inside sales team to achieve sales targets and performance goals.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and processes.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Monitor team performance and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
  • Facilitate training sessions to enhance product knowledge and selling techniques.
  • Manage key accounts and maintain relationships with important clients.
  • Collaborate with outside sales and other departments to optimize lead generation efforts.
  • Ensure the team effectively uses sales tools to track performance.
  • Conduct sales meetings and presentations to communicate goals and report on results.
  • Travels, as needed, to continue development and relationships with customer base.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business.
  • Steel Service Center and fabrication experience a plus.
  • Proven experience as an Inside Sales Manager or similar role.
  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving team performance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop actionable strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
