Architect

The ideal candidate will be a qualified architect who is able to construct clear diagrams using AutoCAD. This candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of all steps related to project completion and diligently communicate with necessary people to ensure timely execution. This candidate should also be able to conduct quality assurance checks on a frequent basis in order to ensure regulations are being followed.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies.
• Prepare detailed project briefs and programming documents.
• Lead the design team in developing innovative architectural solutions.
• Ensure designs meet client expectations, zoning regulations, and building codes.
• Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders for approval
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and scope.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, and consultants.
• Oversee project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Provide support during the bidding process, including preparation of bid documents.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and compliance with design specifications.
• Address and resolve any issues that arise during construction.
• Maintain open and effective communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and present project updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders.
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards and best practices.
• Implement quality control measures throughout the project phases.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience
• Bachelor of Arch degree. .
• Experience with NYSED projects; AutoCAD proficiency
• Strong communication and organizational skills;
• NYS Professional Architectural License; and commitment to professionalism.
• Must have portfolio of completed projects that showcase their work and capabilities.
