Job Overview:
Our client, a key player in the semiconductor industry, is looking for a Senior Facilities Manager to oversee critical facility operations, including bulk gas delivery systems, large-scale chiller management, and hazardous gas handling. This role is integral to supporting high-demand, 24/7 manufacturing environments with complex semiconductor equipment machinery like Epitaxy (Epi) machines. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience, certifications relevant to the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance and operations of semiconductor manufacturing facilities, ensuring the safe and efficient management of systems such as bulk gas delivery and large chillers.
- Lead a team responsible for maintaining critical semiconductor manufacturing equipment, including Epitaxy machines, with a focus on reliability and safety.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, especially when handling hazardous gases, and manage preventive maintenance programs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production and ensure equipment uptime in a 24/7 environment.
- Develop and implement strategic facility management plans to support company growth and operations.
- Stay updated on industry certifications and safety standards, ensuring team compliance with company-specific requirements (e.g., TLA certifications)
Required Experience:
- 10 years of facilities management experience, specifically within the semiconductor industry.
- Proven experience with high-risk systems and equipment (e.g., hazardous gases, bulk gas delivery) and large-scale chiller operations.
- Expertise in managing Epitaxy machines or similar tools like Epison and Epi CVD.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices, including safety regulations for semiconductor manufacturing.
