Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for logistics? We're seeking a dedicated Shipping Clerk to join our team in Shakopee, MN.
Responsibilities:
- Order Processing: Efficiently process product orders, including receiving deliveries, registration, and distribution.
- Inventory Management: Maintain a well-organized stockroom through regular organization, cleaning, and cataloging.
- Logistics Planning: Schedule large shipments, plan logistics, and ensure adequate storage and staffing.
- Record Keeping: Prepare and maintain accurate shipping and receiving reports.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot shipping issues and customer complaints, implementing effective solutions.
- Environmental Compliance: Adhere to environmental management and systems.
- Warehouse Operations: Package, lift, and transport merchandise using forklifts and pallet jacks.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in shipping and receiving operations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in inventory management systems
- Forklift operator certification (preferred)
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
