Aerial Medical Nurse Incentives
Competitive salary range of $99,000-$102,000 annually
Attractive $10,000 sign-on bonus paid in two installments after training completion
Schedule consists of 5 days on followed by 10 days off
Company-provided housing while on duty
We are seeking dedicated Aerial Medical Nurses to deliver exceptional patient care in line with GMR protocols and medical directives. You'll play a crucial role in covering open shifts as needed in your designated area.
Key Responsibilities
Assess critical care situations to determine the most effective methods to support, monitor, and treat patients.
Utilize critical thinking to manage and assist critically ill or injured adult and pediatric patients, adhering to physicians' orders.
Maintain a safe, clean, and well-serviced aircraft environment, performing regular equipment checks and adhering to safety regulations.
Collaborate effectively with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, medical facilities, and partners while communicating in a professional manner.
Ensure a smooth transition of patient care by sharing essential information during shift changes and maintaining up-to-date documentation.
Stay current with required certifications and ongoing training essential for your role.
Qualifications
Experience :
At least three (3) years of experience in emergency or critical care settings is required.
Experience in flight nursing preferred.
Education :
Active RN licensure in the states you're assigned to is mandatory.
EMT Certification in states where required.
AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications must be obtained before achieving flight status. Trauma certification is required within six months of hire.
Advanced certifications (CEN, CCRN, CFRN) are preferred and must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS / PEPP, and ITLS / PHTLS are also preferred.
Physical Demands :
Must be willing to shave facial hair as needed to fit an N95 mask.
Must demonstrate sufficient gross and fine motor skills to provide comprehensive and safe patient care.
Ability to lift and / or move up to 150 pounds with assistance.
Specific vision abilities are required, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Must be adaptable to changing work schedules.
