Guardian Savings Bank is looking for a Finance and Account Analyst for our corporate office in West Chester.
Purpose of the role
The Finance & Accounting Analyst will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will assist in and support the Accounting Department. The incumbent in this role will work closely with all members of the finance and accounting team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, with both desire and potential to grow into a broader role with the Bank.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operations
- Assist the Accounting Manager in organizing data required for essential management reporting, including asset and liability management, liquidity management, branch operations, and loan production.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to streamline processes, enhance data queries, and assist operation personnel.
- Assist the investor reporting team with reconciliation of principal and interest due to the investor, as well as taxes and insurance paid on behalf of the investor.
- Assist in the administration and maintenance of the General Ledger.
- Assist the Accounting Department with conducting period-end closes, reporting requirements, daily operational tasks, and periodic exams and audits.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Business.
