Soft Pak Lead - 2nd shift

Pay: $24-$30/hr.

Schedule: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

Duties

• Utilize CAM/CAD programming for efficient machine operation.
• Lead and supervise Soft Pak Technicians and Machine Operators during assigned shifts.
• Ensure all team members follow standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
• Operate the soft pack manufacturing line as needed, assisting with start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance for escalated repairs.
• Collaborate with the Shift Leader and Production Supervisor to meet production targets.
• Provide on-the-job training and cross-training to build team capability and coverage.
• Monitor line performance, address inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all production paperwork and reports.
• Communicate clearly with upstream and downstream departments regarding production status and material needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for the entire shift.
• Serve as a role model for professional behavior, teamwork, and accountability.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical production environment; 1 year in a leadership or lead role preferred.
• Proficient in operating and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Strong technological skills.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and train team members effectively.
• Knowledge of safety and GMP standards in manufacturing.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Manual dexterity and physical stamina for hands-on machine operation.
