Overview
Guided Care is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Human Resources to lead our HR department. This key leadership role involves overseeing all aspects of human resource management, including employee relations, performance management, and succession planning. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HR practices and policies, with a focus on enhancing employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
Key Results Area
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of 1 human resources professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and support for their professional growth.
- Monitor and ensure the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Oversee organizational changes to boost employee satisfaction and engagement.
- Continually strive to improve all HR processes and programs and identify and implement new ones.
- Responsible for investigation, monitoring, and resolving complex employee situations while minimizing organizational risk.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of performance reviews for team members, providing meaningful feedback and identifying areas for growth.
- Oversee the administration of company benefits including, but not limited to, health, dental, FMLA, life.
- Respond to employee outreach within 48 hours.
- Create and document SOPs for all HR processes, ensuring processes are streamlined and easy to follow.
- Shares employee feedback and concerns with direct supervisors as necessary.
- Evaluate and assess personal performance on a routine basis.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Agree to uphold and practice company principles (GUIDE) in all work-related interactions and act as a role model in this regard for all company employees.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5 years’ experience in human resources as a people leader.
- 5 years’ experience managing teams.
- Excellent knowledge of legal HR compliance matters
