Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Tracking and Reporting:
- Track and report the cost of production, inventory, and services.
- Analyze costs to ensure financial efficiency and minimize waste.
- Generate cost reports for management to aid in decision-making.
- Monitor and track cost variances, explaining any discrepancies.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Provide recommendations on cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor actual costs against budgeted figures to ensure adherence.
- Inventory Control:
- Oversee the inventory process, ensuring that records of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods are accurate.
- Manage the valuation of inventory, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and policies.
- Cost Analysis:
- Perform detailed cost analysis and help identify inefficiencies or areas where cost reductions can be achieved.
- Evaluate cost structures and suggest improvements in production or business processes.
- Provide insights into cost reduction strategies.
- Internal Controls and Compliance:
- Ensure that all accounting procedures and records comply with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Support internal audits and provide necessary documentation as required.
- Collaboration:

Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in cost accounting or a similar role.
- Technical Skills:Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Strong Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
- Knowledge of cost accounting methodologies and financial reporting.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot discrepancies and inaccuracies in financial records.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial data and provide meaningful insights.
- Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
