Medical Receptionist/Administrative Support Assistant

The Position:
The Medical Receptionist/Administrative Support Assistant is an entry-level position with training and growth opportunities. The Medical Receptionist/Administrative Support Assistant will report directly to the Business Office Lead, supporting a variety of departments.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, faxing and data entry
- Ensuring all patient data is entered, updated accurately and correctly
- Creating new patient profiles and entering demographics
- Greet patients into the office, check in for scheduled appointments
- Check out patients, schedule follow up appointments, and collect payments
- Open/close front office according to office protocol
- Coordinate inventory and ordering of front office supplies
- Processing outgoing mail – knowledgeable of metered mail equipment
- Opening and sorting incoming mail – ensuring delivered to the correct departments
- Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues
- Complete communications, data and transactions accurately and in a timely manner with business performance and profitability as a core focus
- Perform clerical and administrative tasks with a high degree of accuracy
- Communicate excellent customer service to internal and external clients in person, in writing and over the phone

Skills Required:
- Have great attention to detail and are well-organized

- Wages based upon knowledge and experience
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $18.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
