Position Description – Marketing Manager

Reports to: Managing Director of Marketing

Position Objective:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the creative development, communication and activation of all supplier marketing programs. The Marketing Manager is responsible for the communication and execution of all internal marketing programs to employees at Goldring Gulf Distributing Company.

Description of Physical Tasks:

Keep shelves and vendors clean. Place product on hand truck or dolly (approximately 20 to 50 lbs per case). Pushes/pulls hand truck to machine or shelves and loads appropriate company products.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Development and implementation of customized sales programs that are designed to enhance and localize national supplier programs.
2. Development and implementation of consumer activation programs that enhance company sponsorships while delivering sales growth.
3. Work with supplier reps on distributor market area programs that require consumer activation.
4. Create and present new product roll out plans for all GDH companies.
5. Present current local marketing plans and updated promotional calendars.
6. Create, update and present monthly Marketing Program Guide.
7. Assist with the marketing tools and implementation of all company special events. This includes hospitality and ticket allocation.
8. Assist in the implementation of national promotions that are supported with media and value-added marketing (i.e. Radio Remotes, On Site Activities, Spring Break, Registration programs).
9. Assist with special event and venue marketing including on-site merchandising by maintaining current Point of Sale and visibility as described by company retail standards.
10. Work along with On-Premise Managers in venues and sports properties to conduct on-site activities that reinforce national and local promotions.
11. Maintain company websites and social media platforms for Goldring Gulf Distributing.
12. Provide the Management Team with the sales aids and the developed marketing programs. giving the ability to communicate the programs to the sales force and to gain insight into current are of focus.
13. Develop relationships with community groups, tourist development, local chambers and community alliances.
14. Develop customized sales sheets with relevant local sales and promotional information for use with the sales department.
15. Provide analytical support to Marketing Management as needed.
16. Maintain open and clear communication with sales management, the sales staff and other employees of the company.
17. Collect and review all donation requests in a timely manner with GM and Managing Director of Marketing. Work with suppliers on approved requests.
18. Process order requests as needed for marketing tools and sales merchandise. Follow company purchase order policy.
19. Conduct all activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
20. Conduct all activities in accordance with Federal and State (BATF) rules and regulations.
21. All other duties as assigned.
