Airport Operations Job Description:

The Airport Operations Officer is responsible for ensuring the safe and secure operation of the Gulf Shores International Airport. This role requires a strong understanding of airport operations, safety, and security regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensures airport compliance with FAR Part 139 and TSR Part 1542
Coordinates use of airport facilities for air carrier, air cargo, military, and charter aircraft operators
Assists in planning and coordinating use of facilities for dignitary visits and other special events

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, or relevant field, combined with experience in airport operations or administration
Valid Driver's License
Ability to pass FBI fingerprint-based criminal history record check and pre-hire drug screenings
