Facilities Maintenance Associate
Job Summary
As a Villa Maintenance Associate, you will play a key role in maintaining the quality and functionality of our villa accommodations, golf facilities, and public areas. Your expertise in general repairs, preventative maintenance, and customer service will contribute to a seamless guest experience and well-maintained property.
Key Responsibilities
General Maintenance & Repairs
- Perform repairs on drywall, siding, and furniture
- Maintain and repair appliances, including dishwashers, refrigerators, stoves, washers/dryers, and vacuums
- Conduct basic electrical wiring and plumbing repairs
- Paint interior and exterior surfaces as needed
- Clean gutters, maintain pump houses, and complete water tests
- Fill softener salt and ensure water systems are functioning properly
Property & Guest Services
- Ensure villa rooms and public areas are well-maintained and meet resort standards
- Provide timely and professional service to guests and internal teams
- Communicate effectively with the housekeeping and villa office teams to resolve maintenance concerns efficiently
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety and security protocols to prevent hazards
- Maintain confidentiality regarding guest and company information
- Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience with plumbing, carpentry, tiling, and general maintenance
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Excellent organization and time management abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods
- HVAC knowledge a plus
