Gundersen Health System is seeking a full-time Clinical Manager supporting our Family Medicine Residency Clinic, based in La Crosse, WI.

What You Will Do

• Fulfill a 1.0 FTE; salaried position
• Provide management and oversee the delivery of specialized clinical services throughout the Family Medicine Residency Clinic
• This role will gain knowledge and insight regarding the training and operations of the Family Medicine Resideny Program. This role will be responsible to partner with the Program Director in obtaining and maintaining grants, while developing programs that would meet both operational and strategic needs.
• Manage and lead a team of ~20 staff to ensure optimal functioning in day-to-day operations, including RNs, MAs, and schedulers
• Work collaboratively with the Clinical Operations Director, Program Director, and Section Lead achieve department strategic goals
• In the future, this Clinical Manager will provide leadership to additional department(s); additional area of responsibility yet to be determined

What You Need

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a health-related field; nursing is preferred
• Minimum 5-7 years of clinical/healthcare experience; strong candidates will have prior leadership experience
• Ideal candidate will have:
• Ability to communicate and collaborate while fostering relationships among the team
• Time management skills
• Experience in managing grants is a plus!
