What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cybersecurity Program Coordinator position at Gunnison Consulting Group Inc?

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented professional to support our CFPB client.

Duties and responsibilities include:

In this role, you will support the Cybersecurity Program Manager in carrying out their duties by providing exceptional administrative support

  • Plan and coordinate small-scale events
  • Support workforce development activities

Required Qualifications:

  • Direct demonstrated experience providing executive support and administrative experience to an IT organization
  • Ability to research solutions and answers to questions using the internet, reference documents, job aids, etc
  • Demonstrated understanding of functional cybersecurity concepts
  • Demonstrated experience in working with and developing cybersecurity training materials
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal communication skills, professional phone manners.
  • Excellent writing skills, proficient in proof reading and formatting technical and policy documents.
  • Highly organized, analytical, and detailed oriented

Preferred Experience:

  • 2 years administrative experience supporting a Cybersecurity program
  • Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining SharePoint content

Certifications: Security preferred

Education: High School diploma or GED required. AA or BS in IT-related field preferred.

Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.


The salary range for this position depends upon multiple factors including location, the individual's knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, and contract-specific budget constraints and organizational requirements.

Gunnison Consulting Group's total compensation package also includes bonus and profit-sharing opportunities, depending on company and employee performance. Available employee benefits include:
