Structured Trade Finance Analyst

Job Title: Structured Trade Finance Analyst Contract Type: Time Type: Job Description: The Structured Trade Finance Analyst will report to the STF Manager and will work in close collaboration with the local finance teams. Main Responsibilities · Work with finance team, front office and ops to issue letters of credit to support purchase of product · Reconciliation of Letter of Credit fees from each respective bank · Reviewing daily move sheet to forecast LC issuance, prepayment for product purchases and sales · Reviewing incoming and outgoing payment schedule to reduce incoming and outgoing LC’s · Optimize above usage of letters of credit, including cancellation process and reduction · Work closely with Credit Manager to make sure letters of credit required for sales/margin are received and in place · Work closely with ops team to ensure timely and accurate issuance of invoices and with accounting for application of cash · Work closely with Trade Finance Officer on additional financing and refinancing · Other Duties as may be assigned Qualifications · Experience in the Commodities Trading market, ideally with an oil and oil products background · Experience with Letters of Credit (preferred) that are used in the Commodities Trading market · Ideally, Bachelor’s degree with a major in Finance, Economics or Business Administration · Strong Microsoft office skills · Fluent English required, other languages will be an asset Other attributes · Strong verbal and written communicator · Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills · Demonstrate and inspire integrity and professionalism · Can do attitude / driven, self-motivated and goal orientated · Team player; able to build relationships across the company If you think the open position you see is right for you, we encourage you to apply!
