Several years of Human Resources experience, ideally in an international operating company. Track record in proactively identifying and creating operational efficiencies through centralising, outsourcing and globalising processes within the employee lifecycle. Profound understanding of legal EU Human Resources topics in Germany and also preferably for Switzerland, Austria, Poland. Experience with a German works council and working with a shared services operating model. Ability to build and maintain relationships across the Human Resources functions and influence at multiple levels in the organisation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills complemented with leadership experience. English and German language fluency is a must. Master Degree or Diploma in Business Administration with focus HR or related discipline is required.
Functions / Responsibilities
- Leadership of key Human Resources projects and initiatives which includes the improvement of processes, utilization of technology, streamlining and creating efficiency throughout the People Services department.
- First point of contact providing guidance to managers, employees and Human Resources team to deliver Human Resources policy and processes, transactions with a focus on regional support.
- Delivering effective Human Resources operations on site, managing daily workload and key project delivery on behalf of the Human Resources function.
- Support departments with Human Resources operations processes, tasks, reporting and analysis and collaborate globally with the Human Resources operations partners.
- Build effective employee relations and facilitate the reconciliation of different interests of the company and its employees and works councils.
- Supporting the efficiency of the wider Human Resources function and implementation of agreed change initiatives and technological innovation in cooperation with the management.
- Ensuring accuracy and integrity in all Human Resources and associated systems to support business decisions.
- Management and delivery of all auditing, compliance and accreditations including the evaluation of end to end process delivery.
