Position Overview:
As the Head of Product at Markondo, you will own the product roadmap and be responsible for bringing our company’s vision to life through a customer-focused product strategy. This is an equity-only position—an opportunity to take ownership of a meaningful product, grow with us, and help shape the future of our platform. You’ll play a critical role in developing and maintaining the backend systems that power our platform and ensure scalability as we expand. Markondo is a platform that connects international real estate brokers with development projects and resources on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Vision & Strategy: Define and articulate the product vision, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and objectives. Identify key product opportunities and set a clear direction for the product team.
- Roadmap Development: Develop and maintain a strategic product roadmap that balances short-term needs and long-term vision, focusing on customer impact and business growth.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on product goals and seamless execution from concept to launch.
- Customer Focus: Conduct customer research and leverage data insights to understand user needs and pain points. Prioritize features and improvements based on customer feedback, market analysis, and business goals.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, and iterate based on feedback and performance data.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing product team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Metrics & Reporting: Define success metrics for product performance, track KPIs, and regularly report progress to the executive team. Use data to make informed decisions and improve the product over time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 3 years of experience in product management, with a track record of successfully launching and scaling products.
- Proven ability to define and execute product strategies that drive business growth and customer engagement.
- Strong understanding of market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
