What We Are Looking For
GVEC is looking to hire you for the position of Home Services Warehouseman to deliver the unexpected with a willingness to continuously develop yourself, your department, and our organization. As the Home Services Warehouseman, you will oversee the ordering, receiving, and storage of materials critical to our operations. This role will also be responsible for processing invoices of received material and warranty claims for the service work performed. Our Home Service department is responsible for handling all HVAC, electrician services and renewable energy service and installation jobs.
Your Pay
The pay range for this role is between $17.00 - $22.00/hr. and will be commensurate based on your skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition, GVEC ties cash bonuses to a multitude of organizational benchmarks set forth annually.
How You’ll Help
- Order materials, equipment, and supplies needed for HVAC and electrical services
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
- Properly store materials in designated warehouse locations, maintaining an organized and efficient space
- Process invoices and verify received products against purchase orders
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to resolve discrepancies or delays
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct periodic stock checks
- Ensure timely distribution of materials to technicians for scheduled jobs
- Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with company policies
Experience/Skills You’ll Need
- Experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the home services industry (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
- Familiarity with inventory management software and invoice processing
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Forklift certification
- High school diploma or equivalent required
