GigglesWorld Corp dba Giggles, a well established online/offline retailer, is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic retail sales associate to join our team of great people for our Hyde Park, NY location. This is a full time position. Candidate must reside in the Hyde Park, NY area and be available to work year-round.

Responsibilities and Duties
* Proper age verification of all customers entering the store. 18 to enter and shop, and 21 for all Tobacco-related purchases are required by law!
* Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality is an absolute must.
* Comply and adhere to all policies set forth by GWC as explained in employee manual, store operations manual and training while continuing to maintain compliance with all policies and procedures thereafter.
* Work well with others and be a team player. Complete tasks together in a timely manner as instructed, but also utilize downtime wisely and be comfortable working alone. Most shifts are open to close, solo, and generally the workweek is 4 days a week, however the schedule does change.
* Excellent sales and customer service skills. Upbeat and energetic personality is a must!
* Must be creative and assist with creating content for social media accounts. We will provide you free valuable training of writing and photo content creation that will surely look great on your resume
* Welcome customers into the store with proper greetings.
* Maintain the sales floor appearance as well as other areas of the store not accessible to customers. This includes cleaning, dusting, vacuuming nightly, stocking products and merchandising as well as other tasks as seen fit by GWC.
* Process point of sale purchases efficiently and accurately, utilizing our POS register system.
* Comply with inventory control procedures.
Ideal candidates will need to meet the following criteria but not limited to:
* Be Punctual and Reliable - you must be on time at all times, and arrive for all scheduled shifts.
* Have a neat, clean and mature appearance
* Highly motivated and energetic, customer service driven.
* Own your own vehicle and possess a valid driver's license.
* Nights and weekends are required! College-level students are welcome to apply!
* Ability to multitask while being attentive to customers.
* High School Diploma or GED required, college degree a plus.
* Previous retail/customer service experience preferred, but not required.
* Ability to stand for long periods of time and lifting is required.
* Looking for career oriented people who are serious about advancement.
