JOB SUMMARYIn this role, you will oversee strategies and solutions in employee listening, talent intelligence, and people data storytelling. You will help HR leaders and business partners make informed decisions across multiple areas of human capital and you will balance your strong understanding of HR and business analytics with strategic consulting initiatives to solve complex and pressing challenges. By consulting with executives, structuring business problems, designing analytical plans, and leveraging your experience with advanced statistical techniques, you will deliver meaningful insights presented in an intuitive and compelling way. As a leader within the team, you will also be hands-on in raising Partner and HR data literacy and supporting HR and business stakeholders.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSStrategic Leadership- Define and implement a forward-thinking HR and Partner Analytics strategy aligned with H-E-B's business goals and in support of the needs of the business.- Guide and consult HR and business leaders on the use of HR and Partner data across HR domains and disciplines, prioritizing data needs and fostering a data-driven culture through the provision of actionable, data-driven insights and findings.- Identify strategic analyses needed to enable and inform HR and talent strategic objectives.- Build strong relationships with business units to understand their needs and challenges, working with Finance, Analytics teams, Digital, HR Technology and other relevant COE's to ensure that analytics solutions are aligned with broader business objectives.- Partner with the business and HR leaders to establish, maintain, evaluate, and modify HR and Partner KPI metrics; socialize and build awareness of HR metrics and Partner analytics insights across the organization.- Act as a bridge and integrator across departments to achieve consistent, cohesive HR and Partner data definitions and utilization.- Stay informed of industry trends and emerging technologies in People and Workforce analytics, incorporating relevant innovations into the Partner Analytics strategy and initiatives.Insights Generation and Consulting- Own and execute the HR Partner listening strategy and program, including HR surveys and assessments across the Partner lifecycle.- Collaborate with HR leadership and business stakeholders to identify workforce challenges, interpret data findings, and consulting with stakeholders to define solutions, tell a story through data visualizations, and present recommendations.- Oversee HR and Partner analytics storytelling and data-journalism to effectively communicate insights and findings to leaders and business stakeholders - Translate complex analyses and technical concepts into simple business terms with the ability to effectively communicate to an executive audience. - Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Partner demographics, behavior, and preferences, using this knowledge to develop insights and recommendations focused on enhancing the Partner experience, increased performance, support career development and drive sustainable growth- Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for data-informed decision-making- Facilitate workshops and sessions to educate stakeholders on leveraging insights for strategic decision-making, as needed.- Determine priority and needs for dashboards and reporting to visualize key HR and Partner data insights; inform the creation of dashboards and reports, as neededManagement- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing HR Analytics and Insights team who collaborate with HR leadership and business stakeholders to leverage data and insights, interpret data findings, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.- Identify and articulate team priorities based on business needs.- Mentor and lead staff in producing well-written analytic summaries and visual presentations appropriate for presentation to stakeholders, management, and/or senior leadership.- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.- Support team growth and long-term sustainment through team building, professional development and workflow/process documentation.QUALIFICATIONS & KEY REQUIREMENTSLeads managers and/or more experienced professionals who exercise substantial latitude and independence in a facility or function that may include multiple related groups. Work includes looking beyond existing methodologies to resolve complex issues with potential for significant cross-functional impact. A portion of time may be spend performing tasks related to the area.Decisions have long-term impact on the success of the function, region, division, or line of business. Erroneous decisions or recommendations may cause critical delays or modifications to company projects or operations causing substantial expenditure of time, human resources, and increased financial cost.Manages planning, staffing, and budget attainment. Responsible for hiring, firing, and performance/pay reviews.Masters - degree in a relevant field of education and/or work experience leading successful projects and coaching/mentoring others in facility/function or group. Completion of H-E-B Leadership programs where applicable (i.e. SORL).BA/BS in an analytical major such as Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or similar. Master - s Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, Economics) preferred.Preferred:- Doctorate Degree in a relevant field Additional Requirements:- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of developing teams, driving performance, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.- Aptitude in telling the story behind the data and translating analysis into insights and recommendations.- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities to drive data-informed decisions.
