SUMMARY
The Office Engineer/Office Manager performs administrative services in contract management, vendor compliance and general support for their assigned project team(s).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following and other assignments.
Project Startup and Setup (Contracts, Permits, Site Office Setup, including ordering office supplies)
Processing and Tracking of Subcontracts
Tracking of Certificates of Insurance, Bonds and Change Orders
Processing of Subcontractor’s Pay Applications and Payments in Flash Tract and entering into CMIC
Assist SPM/PM in preparing Owner Pay Applications and submission
Assist in Certified Payroll Processing if necessary
Assist in Diversity Tracking Compliance
Assist Project Manager and Project Engineer with the creation and production of project financial reports.
Assists with project close-out requirements
Works with the PM/PE to execute the Closeout Check List
Perform work in a safe manner and actively encourages others to do the same.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To perform in this position successfully, an individual must be able to execute each essential duty and responsibility to the satisfaction of both the Group Vice President and the Operations Manager.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associates or Bachelor’s degree (A.S., B.A., B.S.) in Engineering, Building Construction or Business Management from a college or university; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on controversial or complex topics to client top management, corporate senior management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.) in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Registrations as an Architect or Engineer and certifications by industry associations such as Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) or Project Management Institute (PMI) would bring added value and credibility to an individual in this position but are not required to fill this position.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Familiarity with program management, construction management, development, and construction marketing concepts, procedures and terminology are required. A strong background in composition of reports, proposals, technical correspondence, and documentation is also required. Proficiency in the use of CMiC, Procore, DocuSign, Certified Payroll, Microsoft Word and Excel.
