Employment Legal Counsel

Salary: $185,000 - 245,000 15% bonus incentives package

*Will work directly with Vice-President and have strong opportunity for progression*

Position Overview:

Our Client is looking for a Employment Legal Counsel to join their legal team. This role will be a trusted advisor across the company, offering expert guidance on a variety of labor and employment law matters as well as Union negotiations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support leadership on labor relations and union matters, including interpreting collective bargaining agreements and addressing disputes or legal challenges.
• Oversee employee discipline processes, grievance resolution, and arbitration proceedings.
• Participate in union negotiations and labor campaigns, acting as a strategic partner to our labor teams.

An ideal Candidate would have:

• 4 years of legal experience focused on labor and employment law.
• Experience with union negotiations, including collective bargaining and dealing directly with the NRLB.
• Willingness to travel up to 30 - 40% of the time.
