Position Summary
The Concierge is a key contributor to the Front Office team, provides exceptional guest experience, and will be responsible for the service of guests and coworkers at all times.
Responsibilities
- Greets guests and provides general assistance to guests, peers, and other department employees & leadership.
- Manage guest inquiries regarding the hotel, offerings, and experiences.
- Anticipate and assess guest’s needs, responds promptly and acknowledge all guests.
- Develop a thorough knowledge of hotel services and surroundings.
- Offers directions, recommends restaurants or area attractions, and makes reservations or travel arrangements upon request.
- Accepts packages or arranges for scheduled deliveries.
- Utilize hotel systems to ensure all guest requests are completed.
- May assist with guest check-in or check-out.
- Maintains in a professional and kind manner at all times while communicating with hotel guests and other hotel departments.
- Maintains the highest level of confidentiality regarding guests and staff.
- Responsible for professionally handling all guest complaints and reports them to management.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Front Desk or Concierge role in a luxury hotel
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Exceptional communication and written communication skills.
- Customer/client orientation and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work efficiently within a team environment.
