AP Chemistry and Science Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated AP Chemistry and on-level teacher to join our educational team. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards in science education.
• Teach subjects such as AP Chemistry, chemistry, biology, and physical science.
• Utilize various instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Assess student performance through regular evaluations, tests, and assignments.
• Provide academic advising and tutoring support to students as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues in education administration to enhance the overall educational experience.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of scientific principles and concepts across various disciplines.
• Proven classroom management skills with the ability to maintain student engagement.
• Experience in tutoring or academic advising is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents to promote student success.
